Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns

Easter, which for me is the most memorable moment in history, and certainly the most important for anyone. I tried to make a small animated loop that simply translates what happened: The King of kings who received a crown of thorns and was rejected by everyone. But he is risen!
Illustration
Assim eu sรณ me preocupo com as cores depois.

As usual, I start the illustration in black and white, even though I know I wouldn't have that much color to work with. This helps me work faster and more assertively. So I only worry about the colors later.

Animation
Nessa animaรงรฃo eu enfrentei alguns desafios, pois eu ainda nรฃo sei trabalhar com 3D.

In this animation I faced some challenges, as I still don't know how to work with 3D. Therefore, the rotation of the crown was done entirely with path animation. So I dragged the points of the strokes so that it gave the impression that it was rotating. My main focus was also to make a very interesting and majestic transition between the first state and the second. I worked at 8 fps to give the impression that it was done frame by frame, but I animated it by masking the objects. I drew a horizontal stripe for the crown and applied the CC Cylinder effect to make the object look like a 3D crown.
